Contact and Records Routes

Malheur County Busted Mugshots is a private reference site, not a government office. It cannot confirm custody, arrange release, accept bail, or retrieve an official booking record. Please use the responsible public office for those requests.

Malheur County Records Contacts

For immediate local adult-custody or bail questions, use the jail’s verified telephone. For a non-exempt Sheriff record, submit the County’s prescribed dated and signed written request to the Sheriff and ask for an estimate before work begins. The same office is not the court, and it cannot provide legal advice or a final case result.

The County jail page says bail or security is accepted around the clock, including holidays. For a court file or procedural calendar, contact the Malheur County Circuit Court, 251 B Street West, Vale, at (541) 473-5171. Its published public hours are weekdays from 8 a.m. to noon and 1 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., Mountain Time.

Choose the Office by Record Type

Each route answers a different question. An agency report, current jail status, and court disposition should not be treated as interchangeable.

  • For the local custody path and a Sheriff-held booking record, use the county records and custody route.
  • For a warrant concern, seek procedural direction from the issuing court, an attorney, or the Sheriff. The Wanted Fugitives page explains why a public listing is not verification.
  • For an Ontario incident report, contact Ontario Police records at (541) 881-3237. For a Nyssa incident report, use Nyssa Police at (541) 372-3826 or dispatch at (541) 372-3825.
  • For a case outcome, use OJD’s Find a Case or Court Record service or the courthouse public terminal.
  • For a person in later state custody or supervision, begin with the Oregon DOC Offender Search.
  • For separate federal or immigration custody systems, use the official BOP locator or ICE detainee locator.
